They don't. The Asian market near Aurora and 100th may sell it.
Yes we are!
Had takeout and chose the"House Noodles with beef" the food was hot and made fresh. The owner was so pleasant and made me feel welcome. I'll come back for sure, their lunch specials look like a great deal!
I dine in this lovely place quite a bit! This is my favorite spot to eat. I visit this spot regularly. The cooking is of high quality, the crew is welcoming and the rates are decent. I enjoy going in this spot for a nice supper.
Tried this place on a whim, looking for some decent traditional Chinese food in north Seattle. I ended up trying the Hot and Sour Soup, Orange Chicken, Broccoli Beef, Honey Walnut Prawns, Fried Rice and BBQ Pork. Everything was good - not mushy, not overcooked, flavorful. The soup was a little on the bland side, but everything else was solid. Won't blow you away, but it definitely hit the spot.
I really wanted to love this place -- I've been looking for good Chinese in North Seattle for years. Unfortunately this is not it. I came in for lunch and it was okay, very reasonably priced, very friendly staff/owner. But twice I've gotten take out for dinner that was mediocre at best. The 2nd time they refused to let me order a combination plate because "they were too busy." The Mongolian beef was inedible. The chow mein was the bright spot, and there are enough reviews raving about the handmade noodles that I MIGHT come back to try those. Maybe. For the prices, if you can find the right items, this place may be worth trying. But I doubt I'll be giving it a 4th try.
Very tasty Chinese food served up the extremely friendly and sweet proprietor. Be sure to check them out.
Food was delicious with sizeable portions. Waitress was very helpful and friendly, I think she may have been the owner. Restaurant was cozy, and quiet. Perfect for a family looking for a traveler's lunch. We had a great time and took left overs.
Nice people, tasteless food
This is a great place! The food is always great, eat in or take it home. In addition, the owner is a very nice person & makes each visit a nice experience. A friend turned me on to this place & even though I live only a couple of miles from the ID, this is now my go to for Chinese food!
Delicious food and chebutdeunch combos but even ordered spicy, for want really very spicy at all.
The service and food was pretty fast. The food quality was just okay though. Overall, it was pretty bland. We ordered a lot of different appetizers and entrees and it was all just okay to kind of good. Being that I'm vegetarian, I didn't get to try many of the dishes ordered, but the fried rice and the long beans were pretty flavorless. I went with a few meat eaters who also felt their dishes were just okay. Also, they don't serve complimentary tea, which was a little disappointing, since most Chinese places I've been to do.
I am a black male. Was about to walk in Fu Shen when I read a review saying that the restaurant didn't serve black people. There are plenty of other places where all are welcome. Don't need to deal with Chinese bigots.
It's actually really nice inside. Good, cheap Chinese food. Don't let the Aurora location scare you. They also have a good sized parking lot.
Absolutely delicious. Not your average American style Chinese place, these guys are super authentic and the effort shows. Everything tastes lovely, the veggies are crisp and fresh, the fried items aren't greasy and nothing is heavy or over breaded. My favorite dish from this visit is the Beef and Snow Pea, where the peas were beautifully crisp and crunchy, the beef nicely cut and tender, and the sauce was a rich garlic-savory delight. Definitely a spot I plan on coming back to in the future.
Great little Chinese place. So nice and accommodating. Chow Main w/ homemade noodles are to die for.
Fu Shen always fulfills our hankerings for the American Chinese we grew up on. Seattle is amazing for authentic food, but this spot is the place to be for the savory goodness of adapted meals. We usually call in an order to-go. General Taos and Sesame Chicken with some veggie eggrolls are always quality goodness. The service is quick and the staff are super friendly. Will continue to find a fixing at Fu Shen!
Surprised at the high reviews here. While the lunch price was certainly cheap, the food itself was not very good, especially the rice and noodles.
Lol don't let her know you want to share a meal. She was a mean waitress. If you want to be able to order what you want, then order through takeout. We dined in and many people came through ordering out. I guess they all figured it out but we were amateurs. The food was pretty good.
Went here for dinner this evening. Got seated right away, ordered, and got tea. Then a middle aged black couple came in and also asked for a table. They were told the wait would be well over an hour. They left. I got my food about five minutes later. I tried to ignore it. But then the same thing happened to a young black girl not twenty minutes later. She came in and asked for a table and was told that the wait to eat would be well over an hour. Like the couple from before, she wasn’t offered an apology or a menu to look at or a place to sit among the many open seats. She was told that the wait would be very long and that was that. This line was not given to myself or any of the white or Asian families that came in while I was there. The rest of us were welcomed and seated immediately and fed as you would expect in any modestly busy restaurant with seats yet to fill. The food wasn’t bad at all. But I won’t be going back.
Fast and friendly location! Great food and lots of it!
The food was so delicious. I have been here many times and the food quality was still the same every time. Try their homemade noodle, especially stir fried!! Can't go wrong with it!!Fu Shen
Fried rice, prawns with black bean sauce, Mongolian beef, and kung pow chicken.......all fantastic. Definitely going back!
Don't let the outside fool you! This place was very clean and neat inside. The service was quick and friendly and the food was great!
Simple restaurant style, great food. The chicken chow mein is consistently fresh and flavorful. Priced for value.
I’m not even done yet with my meal and I had to stop just to say how delicious my meal is. The soup starter is amazing. And my dish is so good. Thank you
Amazing $6 and $7 lunch specials. For dinner, you can't go wrong with the home-made lo-mein and General Tso's chicken.
Excellent service with great tasting food. This is the $12 dinner combo
Hands down some of the most delicious Chinese food I've eaten.
I have gone to this restaurant for years and years, we were one of the first guests there when they opened. I am so disheartened and disappointed to learn that they will not seat black folks. Will never be going back.
Great service! Bok Choy in garlic sauce was perfect!
Seriously one of my favorite places in town. The house special hand pulled chow mein noodles are fantastic. Really, really amazing. I always get them and the ribs appetizer. My 2 year old loves the egg flower soup. While the food is delicious, what you really need to experience is the hospitality. The fantastic woman who owns Fu Shen is one of the most kind, engaging and gracious people I've ever met. I could order deliver but I never will because I don't want to give up the wonderful interaction we have every time. She loves my son and has been feeding us well before he was born! She knows me when I call in my order and always asks about my family while sharing hers. I can't say enough about her kindness. Come for the food. Come back again and again for the food and the wonderful people. You can't go wrong here.
For the price it is ok, but for just a couple bucks more I've had WAY better Chinese food at Magic Dragon on 15th, too bad they are closed for 2 weeks starting today!! At least my boyfriend inhaled this food! But it was very bland and salty, also the beef is like rubber...Oh and Magic Dragon is not just WAY better but they are also not racist
Some items seemed very fresh, others did not. Will return for Tso's and some fried rice. The BBQ pork was very old and dry.
Nice people, not busy
"There comes a time when the world gets quiet and the only thing left is your own heart..."
Best shrimp fried rice and potstickers I’ve ever had.
What a great little place. Super friendly staff, great food for decent prices... Get the house made noodles if you can! One of the better Chinese restaurants on this side of the city.
I've come in a few times with my girlfriend and we both really enjoy the food and service. We always sprung up for the homemade noodles and they are totally worth it! The portion is big enough for 2 people to eat.
This place is SO WONDERFUL!!! I can't even contain my excitement by typing like a normal human being because IT IS SO HECKIN YUMMY!!!! My sister and law love to share their orange chicken (extra crispy) along with their >>>perfect<<<< house made noodles and a side of steamed veggies. All I can say is that if you are on the hunt for delicious food, FU SHEN ROCKS!!!!!
Excellent food and stellar service!
Sweet people with food so fresh you can taste it!
Finally found legit Chinese food in Seattle. Say it with me: “No. More. Teriyaki!” Just kidding - this dad-bod needs it Teri-fix too. HOWEVER - this place, a diamond (dare I say ‘emerald’) in the rough (literally rough) part of town brings great service, hot food, and a clean environment. Get the house made noodles. I’ll repeat: “Get the house made noodles”. If you don’t, you’re an idiot. Sesame chicken is unlike anything I’ve had in this city. It actually reminds me of the same dish I would eat at this little shop in my small hometown. A little spice makes it perfect. Eat here.
Great take out. Great food and owner.
Don't let the outside of this place scare. It is the best Chinese food in Seattle, hands down. First off, the woman who runs the place, Jenny, is the best. She remembers you, and your family after one visit. If you're a regular, like me, she even remembers your order. I HIGHLY recommend the House Special hand pulled noodles. They cost a little extra, but it's worth it. I dream about these noodles. I can never finish an order in one sitting, and they reheat beautifully. The honey walnut shrimp is also really good. I'm not sure what's in the honey sauce, but it's addictive. I've also enjoyed the beef and broccoli and the sesame chicken, which are great. But order the noodles. No really. Order the noodles. Order them.
Delicious food!
I was really looking forward to having chinese food takeout for NYE. Unfortunately, it was inedible. So, cheers to better food in the New Year.
A relative's girlfriend ordered from this place for last night's Christmas dinner. General Tsao's chicken was the main course, with pork potstickers and some kind of rubbery flavorless beef, BBQ pork, wanton soup, and some noodle dish whose name I can't recall. All I can say it was all terrible and tasted like rancid grease, and could not possibly have been fresh or even 24 hours old. If it was all fresh, the ingredients and skill of preparation was simply of awfully poor quality. I would rather eat a microwaved TV dinner or a military MRE, or even prison rations, before I ever tried this place again.
Hands down my favorite for Chinese takeout, I would drive from anywhere in Seattle to eat here! There are a lot of standouts but you absolutely have to try the house special chow mein with the house made noodles. It comes with every meat you can think of, and lots of it, and is the perfect blend of sauce, noodle, meat, and veg. I’ve never ordered from here and been disappointed, and I order here a lot. Best customer service too! I can’t sing high enough praises for this place
I can not stress enough how much my life was lacking before i found this place, i eat here 1-2 a week now. The little Asian lady running the joint is the sweetest. i love this place ❤
Owner is very nice. I ordered something that wasnt really in the menu, but they still cooked the dish for me.
Not really much to look at on the outside but more than makes up for it with the food. I called up and ordered the house fried rice and Mongolian beef. It was a take out order and she said the food would be ready in 15 minutes. That was fast, which is a positive. Arrived at the location, it was empty and to be honest didn't really have the greatest decor. But the woman who gave me my order was really really nice. When I got home I sampled the food and it was great. The portion sizes were also more than generous. My total for an order or house fried rice and Mongolian Beef was right at $20 which was awesome considering it was enough to feed 3 people. I will definitely be back.
